| Jung tells us that our mind has 4 functions... thinking ... feeling... intuition and.. to perceive. But,our mind has also an unconscious part, which he proved in the beginning of 1900 with association tests with stimuli words. Then he measured the response time on those words and at the same time he measured the skin tension of one's arm and hand with a galvanic instrument. And out of those tests he proved that we have an unconscious part of our mind... directed to surviving.... in healthy cases. Now unconscious is... not aware, therefore to make contact with the unconsicious is very difficult. He also discovered that dreams have a relation with that unconscious and you can use that in some ways. But mostly a fight arises, because all explanation is subjective and therefore he tells us that explanations only are correct if the dreamer accept it without compulsion of others. In this vision, dreams contain a kind of symbol language and the function of it, is defragmentatie of our hard disk (the brain). That unconscious is a very "vast tale" and not easily to understand. Every man has an "unconscious woman" in its mind and....every woman has an "unconscious man" in itself. That is difficult to accept because we lay down this matter at the partner, most of the time. Thus men and women therefore frequently do "jobs" for each other, mostly not aware of it. |
